Effective Date: 2025-11-10
Revercode (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We built the Aha!Calc app (the “Service”) as a utility tool.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
We have designed our Service to minimize the collection of personal data.
A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The primary function of our app involves processing text you provide. Any data, text, or content you enter into the Service is stored only in a local database (SQLite) on your device.
We do not have access to, collect, or transmit this information to our servers.
B. Technical and Usage Data (Collected Automatically)
To maintain and improve our Service, we use third-party services that may collect information automatically. This data is generally non-personally identifiable but may be considered personal data under some jurisdictions (like the EU).
This includes:
Analytics Data: We use services like Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with our app (e.g., features used, session duration). This helps us improve the user experience. This data is often aggregated and anonymized.
Crash Log Data: We use services like Sentry to identify and fix bugs. If the app crashes, this service collects diagnostic information, which may include your device model, OS version, app version, IP address, and an anonymous installation identifier.
Installation Identifier: The app may generate a random, anonymous identifier (UUID) specific to your installation. This is used solely for analytics and crash reporting and cannot be used to identify you personally.
IMPORTANT (Crash Logs): Our crash reporting service (like Sentry) helps us diagnose and fix bugs. If the app crashes, the report may include the text or mathematical formula that was being processed at that moment. We use this information exclusively for the purpose of debugging the app and improving its calculation engine. We do not attempt to identify you from this data.
As the app is a text-entry tool, please be aware that if you enter sensitive personal information (such as credit card numbers or names), it could be inadvertently captured in a crash log. We advise against entering any sensitive personal data into the app.
We use the limited technical data we collect solely for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Service: Ensuring the app functions correctly on your device.
To Improve the Service: Analyzing usage patterns to understand which features are popular and where we can make improvements.
To Fix Bugs: Diagnosing and resolving crashes and other technical problems.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.
We only share limited technical data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our app. These services are bound by their own privacy policies.
These services may collect your IP address and other device identifiers as part of their standard operation.
A. Advertising
The Service does not currently contain third-party advertising. If we decide to introduce advertising in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy. We may use third-party ad networks, which could collect device identifiers (like your device’s Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads.
B. Cloud Synchronization
The Service does not currently offer a cloud sync feature. If this feature is added, we will provide clear details on how your data is encrypted, stored, and secured. We will update this policy and may require your consent before syncing any of your locally stored data.
Our Service is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union).
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take steps to remove that information.
The data you enter into the app is secured locally on your device by the security mechanisms of your operating system. We take reasonable measures to protect the technical information (analytics and crash logs) transmitted to our third-party services.
Depending on your location, you may have specific privacy rights. Because we do not collect personal identifiers like your name, email, or address, your ability to exercise rights like “access” or “erasure” is limited to the technical data we hold.
You can typically reset the anonymous identifiers (like the Advertising ID) used for analytics and advertising through your device’s settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. You are advised to review this policy periodically.
